Pastor of Discipleship
Chad and Brooke have three young children, Savannah, Luke and Ryan. In his free time, he likes to shoot hoops and play board games with his kids. He is inspired by good food (aren't we all?). When Chad was a child he wanted to study dinosaurs and be an air force pilot.
ROAR Sports Administrator
Ellen is married to Kirk and they have three grown children, Kristin, Ian and Kyle. Ellen loves doing Pilates at the Y and treasure hunting at thrift stores. She enjoys time with family and friends and creating inspiring pieces with graphic design. A quiet beach, warm sun and a good book are always heavenly. Ellen and her family moved to Rock Hill in 2003. They enrolled their children in WCCS, joined WPC and haven’t looked back since!
Assistant Youth Director
Kathleen was born and raised in Orlando, Florida and graduated from the beautiful University of Florida! She's often inspired by top-notch espresso or a day in the sun in her hammock. Kathleen is a tough limbo competitor and she really enjoys breakfast at The Yolk. She prayed for it to return after it burned down her first few weeks in Rock Hill and the Lord was gracious!
Jana is inspired by people who have positive attitudes even through tough situations. Oddly, she still has her eighth grade class roll memorized—it just won’t leave her head. And she can still fluently speak a fake language she learned in High School. When she has time, she enjoys reading and watching old movies. She's married to Russ and they have a teenage son, Travis.
Jason's better half of 20 years is Leah Courtney. They have four children Kathryne, Charles, Ashlyne, and Rachel. He enjoys bowling and cannot live without coffee. The cold, cloudy, short days of winter are his favorite time of year.
Director of Missions and Women's Ministries
Courtney and Alex have two children, Blakely and Banks. Courtney is inspired by an ocean view, sand under her feet and a book in her hand. She loves adventure and once jumped from a plane, free falling for 70 seconds at 120 mph! Courtney loves this community, the people, the proximity to major cities and the many wonderful happenings throughout the year.
Ministry Assistant for Music and Arts
Lee is Janice's husband and she has a daughter, Ally. Janice enjoys camping, volleyball, and volunteering with hospice. She gets inspiration from spending time with senior adults. They are entertaining, wise and so often undervalued. When Janice was a child, she wanted to become a park ranger at Huntington Beach State Park in SC.
Senior Associate Pastor
Chris and Suzy have one daughter, Bailey. Chris is inspired most when he's helping others grow in gospel maturity so that they are not simply informed by the gospel but transformed by grace. His heroes are John Newton, whose pastoral wisdom and sensitivity to the heart have been a shaping influence on his life and ministry and Mariano Rivera, who quietly lived out his faith by excelling as one of the world's most talented closing pitchers for 19 years. He listens to John Coltrane while working and can't live without chips and salsa.
Food Services Director
David has one teenage daughter, Katelyn Flowers. His hobbies include cooking, bird-watching, zymurgy, soaping, and brain games. And sometimes he goes to the grocery store just for fun. Growing up David always looked up to David in the Bible, because he overcame great obstacles through faith in God. He can’t live without his savior's love. As a child David wanted to be both a cowboy and an Indian, often at the same time, which led to some interesting wardrobe choices.
Pastor of Student Ministries
Jonathan really likes teenagers… crazy, right? He tried his hand as a process engineer for a while but felt the Lord calling him to give youth ministry a try and he hasn’t looked back since that moment! God has surrounded Jonathan with fantastic people, and the most amazing person of all is his awesome wife Jess! He gets to work alongside an amazing team of staff and volunteers and loves serving the youth at WPC! Jonathan loves camping, fishing, riding mountain bikes and playing tennis. He cannot live without a cup (or three) of coffee each morning. And his dad is his hero because he is the best man he knows.
Jessica is married to Daniel and they have three children, Lily, John and William. Knowing how tough life can be at times, Jessica is inspired, refreshed and encouraged by people living out real and authentic lives. She says it really takes a "load off" knowing she's not the only one who doesn't have it "all together". Some of her hobbies are adventuring with her family, baking, cooking and Pinterest (that's a hobby, right?). And one more thing, don't get between Jessica and her morning (and afternoon) coffee...she can't live without it!
Director of Pastoral Care
Don is married to Jan and they have five grown sons. He's always enjoyed reading. Being a history major, he enjoys reading about the people who played an important role in making the United States united. One of Don's heroes is Lou Gehrig who played for the New York Yankees during the 1920-30’s. Lou loved his mama like we all should and played/lived the game of baseball/life with humility. Don believes that no matter how big Rock Hill has gotten over the past 60 years, it’s a city that always make you feel welcomed and at home.
Video and Broadcast Technician
Business Operations Coordinator
Kim has two grown sons, Tanner and Parker. Her hobbies are crafting and working in the yard (probably need to leave this to the professionals, power tools are not her friend.) She is considering seeking therapy for her obsession with Chico’s jewelry. The one thing she can’t live without is her pool. Especially in the heat of the summer. She loves, loves, loves it!
Mike and Judy have two married sons, Wade and Wesley, and a grown daughter, Mary Katherine. Mike is inspired by people who give themselves for the sake of the oppressed. One of his heroes is William Wilberforce. When Mike was a child he wanted to grow up to be a sanitation worker (to ride on the outside of the truck); then a farmer (like his grandfather); then a professional baseball player; then a professional football player; then a professional golfer; then a professional tennis player; then an architect; then a real estate developer; then a seminary professor; then a pastor. How about that! He also wanted to retire at age 45, live on a 70-foot yacht in the Bahamas and spend his days fishing. Oh well.
Executive Assistant to the Senior Pastor
In her spare time and on the weekends Liz enjoys walking, spending time with her husband, Wes, and three dogs (Great Dane, Yellow lab, and a Heinz 57) and our cat, and going bargain hunting with her mom. She loves to laugh and make others laugh but a quirk about her is doing silly voices (at the most random time). The best is when someone else does one back! It is so much fun to enjoy life with a good laughing friend! Liz is a Rock Hill native. She is really enjoying all of the new good eats around town (Southern Salads, Sisters, and Hey Sugar Shop). She loves walking at Riverwalk along the river front and going to Winthrop Basketball games! Bringing Shalom to this city is a wonderful thing.
Assistant Director of Food Services
Originally from Houston, TX, Sara's family moved to Rock Hill and joined WPC in 1993. From the age of 5, she wanted to be a chef, often playing restaurant and making her parents try new concoctions. After working for several restaurants, she joined the WPC food service team in 2008. Sara is married to Tommy Hutto and they have three daughters: Lila, Lily, and Laurel. She enjoys cooking, gardening, running and fishing in her spare time.
Associate Director of Worship Arts
Brian married his best friend, Michele, in 1999. They have five unique and beautiful children: Cassie, Brandon, Joshua, Leia and Elizabeth. Brian loves backpacking and family camping, singing and playing his guitar. He also loves gardening and finds great joy in growing fresh veggies as well as all of the great conversations he gets to have with his kids about the Lord when planting seeds together and watching the seeds sprout, grow and bear fruit. Brian is most inspired by his brother, Mike, who has always influenced and inspired him to want to live with an eternal mindset. As a young boy he dreamed of becoming a Navy Seal or some similar Special Forces unit. In his early teens he wanted to move out west and be a hunting guide for an outfitter in Alaska, Wyoming, Montana or someplace like that.
When Erin's not working you’ll find her at home with her family (husband: Chip, kids: Zac, Hannah, Eli son in law: Andy), snuggling with her two French bulldogs, or trying to get into some home decorating or beginner diy project she discovered on Pinterest. Rock Hill has been Erin's home since she attended Winthrop University. She loves it nearly as much as the lowcountry where she grew up. When Erin was in middle school she thought she would be an Olympic swimmer. A kid's gotta have dreams!
Children's Discipleship Coordinator
Joy wanted to be a missionary when she grew up because she had a crush on her preacher's son and thought that might make him more interested in her. When that didn't work out she aspired to be a Radio City Rockette. However, she is now (thankfully) here with us because she loves children, especially their uninhibited expressions of love for Jesus. When you can't find her around here with our kids she may be playing games with her family or at her happy place, the beach. She claims she was born with sand between her toes! Joy is married to Jeff and they have four children: a married daughter, Allie, also Austin, Abbie and Andrew.
Director of Instrumental Music
Phil is happily engaged to Courtney Wyatt. He enjoys going to the gym, watching the TV show Criminal Minds and traveling. He is inspired by Rock Hill people because most are willing to lend a helping hand at any time. As a child, the thought had never crossed his mind to become a middle school band director. He always dreamed of being an astronaut since he was obsessed with space and technology. He is thankful, however, for music and the impact it has had on his life. Phil is happy to be a part of the great community at WPC.
Discipleship Administrative Assistant
Anita is married to Phillip and they have four children ranging from 11 years old to a newborn: Savannah Grace, Rylee, Mac and Declan. In her free time she enjoys making homemade cut-out sugar cookies and hand decorating them, spending time with her family and enjoying the grand adventure of church planting with her husband. Although she is not a native of Rock Hill, Anita really enjoys the family atmosphere of the city and being just a short distance from the mountains or the beach.
Worship Arts Ministry Assistant
Nancy is married to Tim and they have two teenage daughters, Emily and Lauren. Nancy enjoys singing, listening to music, playing tennis, being with her family and friends. The one thing she can't live without...her calendar and for those who know her..you know it's true! Something quirky...when she hears music, she starts dancing...even during tv commercials...she just can't help herself. She's lived in Rock Hill for the past 18 years and has seen it grow and change. She loves the friendliness of the people, the small town feel, the many events that the city has to offer to get involved, participate, or volunteer and the friends she's made!
Assistant Director of ROAR Sports
Rhett finished his Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management at North Greenville University where he played baseball for one year. Growing up, he played soccer, football and basketball. He is originally from the small town of Thomaston, GA. While living there, his parents fostered over 40 children. Rhett lived with 12 foster siblings until he was 14. That's when his family moved to Spartanburg, SC where Rhett's father began GracePointe Ministries which is devoted to children, youth and families in crisis. Shortly after that move, Rhett and his mother were involved in a terrible car accident where he suffered a global brain injury and was on life support and in a coma for 8 days. His family was told by the doctors that he would never walk or talk again. However, the Lord had different plans for Rhett and allowed him to walk out of the hospital just 5 days after he woke up from the coma!
Student Ministry Administrative Assistant
Melissa and Jim have three children: Morgan, Allison, and James. Melissa's hobbies are shopping, exercising, cooking desserts. She loves spending time with her family. You won't find her without Diet Coke. Unfortunately she's tried living without it and it did not go well! Melissa's lived in Rock Hill her entire life and loves the small town feel with larger town benefits. She's enjoyed watching her hometown grow and change over the years!
Director of Westminster Foundation
Kristen is married to Bruce Rhyne. She has a grown son and daughter and five grandkids ranging in age from 2 to 14. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, reading and learning new things. She's most inspired when investing herself in peoples’ lives to “make a difference”. Living in Rock Hill means that she can more easily spend time with her children and grandchildren. It also means that she's close enough to the ocean and the beach to be there in half a day for quality time of rest, refreshment and making memories with those she loves.
Ron has three grown sons, six grandchildren and is married to Jacquelyn who has two sons and four grandchildren. He is long-time member of Westminster and very active with scouting, singing in the chancel choir and playing trumpet in the Westminster orchestra. He retired from York County Natural Gas Authority after 26 years of service. Ron is very involved in the Rock Hill community including a barbershop quartet called the "4 Chordsmen". Ron is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the grounds and equipment at our beautiful 300 acre park.

Her favorite treat is diet coke and peanut m&ms. She enjoys trail walks with her goofy dog Beau, and most of all she loves being with her family at her parents home on Lake Murray.
Heather is married to Greg . Their children are Grant, Haley and Rachel. She likes to read, hike, bake and spend time with her family. Being in nature and being awed by the beauty of God through His creation is her biggest inspiration. One thing she can’t live without: Chocolate!

Andy comes to us by way of Morehead City, NC. As a kid he had lofty dreams of one day becoming a basketball coach at North Carolina State. Of course he enjoys all things sports and being outdoors, but you might be surprised to find out his favorite sports hobbies are volleyball and surfing! Carolina Panther fans will need to forgive Andy for his loyalty to the Seattle Seahawks. Hopefully, we can all come together over his love for ice cream. Andy's favorite: Ben & Jerry's Half Baked. Andy is married to the love of his life, Sarah.
